Rates vary depending on the complexity of the project and the time frame in which it needs to be completed. However, for most academic-level projects, the rates are as follows:

Proofreading

Per word: 12 cents

Per page: $3

Per hour: $35

Copy Editing*

Per word: 15 cents

Per page: $5

Per hour: $40
*Copy editing rates also vary depending on the subject matter (fiction, nonfiction, business, science, etc.). 

Based on your project, we can determine if a word, page, or hourly rate is best for you. 

Please note that urgent projects are slightly more expensive. 

Prices are quoted in Canadian dollars and are subject to applicable taxes.
